Synopsis
Acclaimed screenwriter Tony Gilroy makes his directorial debut with Michael Clayton, starring George Clooney in the title role of a "fixer" who specializes in getting clients out of sticky situations for a top New York law firm. Complications arise when an unprecedented crisis he's sent to fix puts him face to face with the reality of who he has become. The film also stars Tom Wilkinson, Tilda Swinton and Sydney Pollack.
